Kyocera is this week's winner of our special Scrooge award. The printer maker recently sent us the results of a survey which sought to measure the Yuletide spirit of UK companies. However, it turned out to be more a measure of how crafty a company can be when trying to boost sales of its products. The survey revealed that if given #1,000 this Christmas, most employees would chose to donate the money to charity. In a press release the company went on to say that #1,000 is the potential annual saving that can be made by using a Kyocera ECOSYS printer instead of a competing brand. How charitable.
