The European Commission is in the process of constructing a multilingual Web site. It predicts it will be the largest site on the Web and is designed to boost interactivity between foreign nationals. The aim is to aid and advise people who wish to work, study or live in a different EU country.
"Everybody has a right to know how the EU affects his or her daily life and I want to make sure that everybody has access to the information, not just the well-informed public,? stated Jacques Santer, president of the European Commission.
Ironically the Web site dedicated to European communication has so far been almost impossible to contact owing to server problems with http://citzens.eu.int/.
