Dutch mobile telecomms supplier Libertel has formed a joint venture with EDS to offer corporate mobile communications services.
The company, called Socratel, will provide mobile telephony using Libertel's GSM network and other services such as information management and financial solutions. The aim is to enable corporates to manage their mobile communications more efficiently and to take advantage of direct billing and other options.
"Customers need to have a better insight into user patterns and related costs," said John de Wit, general director of Libertel.
