IBM?s Tivoli systems management software unit is expected to announce technology, codenamed the Lightweight Client Framework (LCF), for managing network computers, next year. The software is currently at the prototyping stage, but elements have already been integrated into Intel?s Management Services Broker. LCF enables a range of clients, including NCs, to communicate with a Tivoli Management Environment Server.
