Fancy swapping plain old Mr, Mrs or Ms for a title? Then bid online for Lord and Lady of the Manor.
Interactive Collector, the online resource for buying and selling Arts, Antiques and Collectibles, is running a charity auction for Global Cancer Concern. Up for grabs are a couple of titles - "Lord & Lady of the Manor of Bassingbourn", or if you prefer, "Lord & Lady of the Manor of Fulbourn".
You will be able to use your newly acquired title on your passport, driving licence, cheque book and credit cards, as well as gain an Honouree membership to the Landed Gentry Society, although there are no feudal rights - so forget any serfs. Both titles are hereditary.
Last bids are taken at 9pm on Thursday December 10th. But be warned - they are expected to go for at least #6,000.
