The Ebusiness boom pushes external security to the top of the corporate agenda, but the real danger lurks within, a study from IDC said. All of the 200 European companies polled said they had had least one security breach in the past year. The report, released last week, found that 90% of detected security breaches - including data theft, data corruption and denial of service - originated in-house. Of the breaches, 45% were caused by malicious employees, said the report, that was commissioned by IBM-owned systems management vendor Tivoli.
