The SAS Institute has started shipping Web publishing tools that enable users to convert their existing SAS-based applications into HTML, table GIF and JPEG formats, for display on the Web.
The decision support tools company has also released the beta version of its Scaleable Performance Data Server for IBM's AIX Unix operating system. The product optimises the SAS Systems for data warehousing. Although unclear when it will be generally availabile, it will cost between $25,000 and 45,000 depending on server size. Windows NT and HP/UX support will follow next year.
