Microsoft has started shipping two Year 2000 tools to try and help users establish whether their Microsoft products are Millenium compliant.
The Year 2000 Product Analyzer scans PCs? hard drive looking for Microsoft applications and then generates a report listing possible problems. The Year 2000 Product Guide Workbook provides a list of Microsoft products that users can search to find out if they are Millenium compliant.
Both tools can be downloaded free from Microsoft?s Web site, at www.microsoft.com/year2000/. They will be available immediately in English, but other languages are due to follow within 60 days.
