Peregrine has released ServiceCenter 3.0, which enables organisations to combine multiple isolated helpdesks into a single centralised service operation that can substantially lower costs while raising service levels across the enterprise.
Enhancements include speedier deployment, simplified administration, integration with back office ERP systems like SAP R/3 and fully localised versions in French, German, and Japanese where multi-lingual organisations wish to consolidate their service operations
As part of the offering, Peregrine has introduced a rapid implementation programme making it is possible to implement the package with minimum customisation within 25 days, using a "consultant-in-a-box" approach to ensure key steps are followed and that base configuration on functions like escalation rules are made simple to create.
The core system starts at around £30,000 for a 50-user system.
