SiteMinder 3.0 provides directory-enabled, secure network access control for both Internet and intranet sites that enables companies to designate user access.
The company's upgrade, now shipping, also bundles Netscape's Directory Server. SiteMinder 3.0 starts at $3,995 (#2,436) for a policy server for 200 users; the product's Web agent is an additional $1,800 (#1,098) per server.
