Krispy Kreme, the US doughnut brand, is implementing SAP Business One by working with UK VAR PCMS Group as it begins operations in the UK.
As a 'nominated reseller' for SAP Retail products, PCMS handles all of Kripsy Kreme's IT provision as a fully managed service.
This includes 24-hour helpdesk support, installing point-of-sale (POS) systems and the integration of Business One with its IT infrastructure.
"It was important for us to be flexible," said David Bason, PCMS Group SAP services manager. "We can provide all of the services and connectivity Krispy Kreme needs as it grows in the UK."
PCMS' Java bean-based POS platform, called 'Beanstore', will also help Krispy Kreme integrate its sales data directly into Business One to streamline production and accounting procedures.
Dominic Jaques, Krispy Kreme UK financial director, added that with Business One and PCMS, "we have found a solution that will allow us to grow that is manna from heaven".
