Software firm Symtrax has launched a European channel partner programme targeting resellers and software consultants.
Symtrax, which makes data distribution software for reformatting, distributing and archiving report files generated by IBM iSeries 400 mainframes and other mid-range and large systems, announced the programme this week.
The company aims to recruit original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partners to integrate its software into their own offerings, as well as resellers to operate on two different levels of partnership.
Silver partners will receive a package containing key information and documentation on Symtrax products, and will recommend the software to potential clients. Symtrax will complete the sales cycle at a partner commission of 10 per cent.
Gold and OEM partners get access to the Symtrax Alliance website, which contains the latest documentation and products, information on competitors and sales tips.
OEM partners will benefit from 40 per cent commission while Gold partners will get 20 per cent. Commission levels will be subject to incentive rises if partners manage to exceed sales.
Symtrax has more than 4,000 customers worldwide in various different sectors, such as Pepsi, Danone, Heinz, Michelin, Bank of Bermuda, Axa Insurance, Sony, L'Oréal, Bausch & Lomb and Volvo.
