Memory maker Kingston Technology has denied it is up for sale by its major, Softbank, which also owns Ziff Davies and the Comdex Group.
A senior executive at Kingston UK told the VNU Newswire such a prospect was completely ruled out of any future or present equation.
That follows bad news for the combined Ziff-Davies, Softbank exhibition company as both Intel and Digital - Comdex stalwarts - said they were likely to follow IBM and withdraw from future exhibitions.
The reasons are down to lack of objective visitor stats, said IBM after Comdex/Fall last year.
