Software supplier Cincom is teaming up with a German software company to launch a joint venture company aimed at the customer relationship management (CRM) market.
Alistair Sinclair, managing director of Cincom?s intelligent customer (iC) solutions division, said the proposed company, which should be set up in the next eight weeks, will be called iC Solutions, and will combine the two parent companies? product lines, with the first new offering to be a package aimed at the pharmaceutical industry. Other vertical industry solutions will be rolled out this year.
Orbis specialises in sales force automation, telemarketing, and customer service, with Cincom having a strong base in configuration, ecommerce, and call centre technologies. By combining the two product lines, they hope to offer an integrated solution to customers, which can offer a broader range of functionality than other CRM suppliers.
