Japansese mega-carrier NTT has joined forces with IBM in network computing for NTT's home market.
Initially, both companies will examine how their respective network infrastructure and skills could be brought together, but from April IBM?s network services and software applications will be available on NTT?s network.
The deal is the latest effort in NTT?s aim to be more than a telecomms operator.
