North Korea is to get a substantial boost from South Korea after Samsung said it will build semiconductor factories and other manufacturing plants in the country.
According to the 'Korea Herald', Samsung will invest over $1 billion in the North Korean economy over the next 10 years.
The move is partly the result of increased contacts between the two countries, but it is probably linked to investments that its rival Hyundai has already pledged it will make.
