Chris Evans plans to release his unique brand of TV and radio entertainment onto the Internet with the launch of Ginger Online.
Headed up by John Ousby, formerly head of new media at Virgin Radio, Ginger Online will go live this autumn with an Internet presence that will support a new series of TFI Friday on Channel 4.
"The TFI site will aim to attract fans from all over the UK and abroad, with the same kinds of compelling content that draws in over three million viewers to the show each week,? explained Ousby. ?We'll be developing new ways of letting people take part in the TFI experience, not only during the show but also throughout the week.?
Ginger Online will also support Ginger TV productions in the pipeline and have a revamped Virgin Radio website. Chris Evans brought the controlling rights to Virgin Radio in December 1997.
