The government auditor will deliver its report tomorrow into Siemens troubled development of a workflow system for the Home Office which has been blamed for causing a backlog in the processing of asylum cases.
As previously reported(see Newswire 29 January), Siemens Business Services development of a casework workflow system for the Home Office?s Immigration and Nationality Directorate has been hit with continual delays, with its proposed implementation in November last year being rescheduled for this July.
The National Audit Office will deliver its report into the private finance initiative venture tomorrow, which is expected to lead to recommendations into how such PFI contracts should be run in future.
