Lucent has filed a patent infringement case against Cisco, charging the latter with violating eight of its data networking patents, covering routers, frame-relay and ATM technology developed at Bell Labs. Lucent also wants an injunction to stop Cisco using the technologies in future products.
Cisco declined to comment on the case.
