Vodafone has launched a two-way text messaging system aimed at service management companies.
Called Vodafone Impact, it enables job controllers to contact remote workers using short text messages.
The worker can then dial a pre-defined number to acknowledge the message and decline or accept the job using an interactive voice response mechanism.
