Havas Interactive has confirmed that its Won.net online gaming service is now available in the UK, France and Germany.
Won.net boasts all the features of its US counterpart, including strategies, hints and tournaments. The website, www.won.net/uk, went live today in beta format with a host of free games.
Havas launched the service in Europe because of the dramatic increase in online gaming, which is predicted to explode with the arrival of internet-enabled mobile phones. Won.net has 2.5 million registered users in the US of which 300,000 are European.
