Celestica acquires HP's printed circuit operation
by Lucy Ness
Celestica International Holdings, a provider of electronics manufacturing services, has acquired HP?s Fort Collins, Colorado based printed circuit assembly operation.
The agreement follows HP?s announcement back in November that it would outsource the manufacturing and assembly of certain commodity-type products related to its workstation business. The business will continue to serve HP but will be expanded to include other customers.
Terms of the sale were not disclosed but the purchase is expected to be completed within the next few months.
