Computer Associates and IBM today announced they would join forces to marketecommerce bundles based on IBM's OS/390 operating system and new Multiprise3000 ebusiness server range to the mid market.
The two vendors plan to cooperate on licensing and distribution to cut the costof packaged bundles based on their products. They will also pre-test packaged components prior to implementation.
"By aligning our go-to-market delivery models, we will be able to work closelywith our mutual channel partners to bring the most advanced ebusiness solutionsto the rapidly growing small and midrange marketplace," CA chairman Charles Wangsaid.
