Netscape has changed the dates of its financial year to run to 31 October rather than 31 December. The company said the change reflected its heightened focus on enterprise software and services, taking into account the seasonal ups and downs of that sector. To effect the change, Netscape will report January results and then a full quarter to 30 April.
