HP has unveiled its Output Server 3.4.1 and HP International Printing Solution, an application for printing in multiple languages.
The company said Output Server 3.4.1 enables users to maintain a central monitoring point for all input and output of documents by allowing them to deliver content in different ways, such as print, fax, web and email.
HP said key improvements to HP Output Server 3.4.1 include the bundling of a MySQL database, firewall navigation and Intel Itanium processor-based server support.
Sharon Jones, vice president of HP's enterprise solutions, imaging and printing group, said in a statement: "HP Output Server helps enterprises ensure business process continuity and helps them positively impact their bottom line."
The HP International Printing Solution, targeted at multinational enterprises, is designed to allow printing in multiple languages and supports the Unicode standard.
Output Server 3.4.1 is scheduled to be available this month, starting at the estimated US street price of $50,000. HP International Printing Solution is currently available at an estimated US street price of $199.
