The UK?s first mobile office in a train carriage has been created by mobile phone group Cellnet and rail franchise operator Virgin Trains.
Dubbed the ?communications carriage?, its facilities will be available four times per day Virgin?s London to Manchester route for first class passengers only. The carriage will carry full email, fax, telephone and mobile phone recharging technology. The carriage will have links to Cellnet?s Genie Internet service which provides customised news alerts for its customers.
