IBM will make its Visual Age Developers' Toolkit for Tivoli available on its Web site next week. The product is aimed at developers wanting to integrate their applications with Tivoli's systems management software. The toolkit includes components that programmers can embed into their packages to monitor for exceptions or errors and to generate asynchronous events. When errors are found, the component notifies the Tivoli console.
