Ascend, the Wan equipment maker that is being acquired by Lucent, said it has sold off another unit from its own acquisition of Stratus Computer.
Tcam, Stratus' financial software business will go to Swedish exchange developer, OM Technology.
Ascend acquired Stratus Computer last October for its intelligent networking expertise but has sold off any non telecomms units. It has already sold off the fault tolerant business to a management buyout, and financial software joint venture, Astria, to French services provider, Atos.
The networking company has yet to sell off the remaining unit, S2.
