AT&T-Unisource Communications Services has upgraded its backbone network with a new hig-speed IP-link between Amsterdam and New York. The connection provides 68Mbps, but is to be upgraded to 90 Mbps next month and then to beyond 155Mbps in the course of 1998. AT&T-Unisource, based in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands, is a joint venture that offers value added international voice, data and messaging services to enterprises in Europe.
