The University of Central England is to become the first university in the UK to offer the Cisco Network Academy curriculum. Undergraduates on any of the engineering-based courses will be offered the opportunity to include the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) options within their course. A CCNA will learn the skills to design and implement LANs and WANs while the more advanced CCNP will install, configure, operate and troubleshoot complex routed and switched LAN/WAN networks.
