German retailer Karstadt is outsourcing its network management to IBM Global Services. The deal, the biggest yet for IBM Germany, involves the support of about 15.000 PCs and terminals for a period of 10 years. Kartadt was already a large IBM customer, running IBM S/390 mainframes and OS/2 servers.
