The review, due to be completed by 31 May next year, takes place every five years. A review team will look at the agency?s performance and consider options for its future such as privatisation or contracting out some of its activities. It will also consider whether or not the Revenue is the most appropriate parent for the Valuation Office.The assessment will be carried out by representatives from the Department for the Environment, Transport and the Regions, the National Assembly of Wales, local government, business and the private sector.
