Netscape has announced "Custom Netcenter" today as the latest component of its Internet portal plans. The new service adapts the familiar portal concept - as represented by such popular Web sites as Yahoo, AOL and Netcenter - to business users. Custom Netcenter enables businesses to create their own customised start pages, offering their employees quick access to company resources, Netcenter content and such services as free e-mail. Custom Netcenter is based on the consumer-oriented "My Netscape" personalisation feature already offered on Netcenter.
