Sybase will announce its JConnect Java database connectivity driver next week at the Java One Conference in San Francisco. JConnect is written in Java and enables applications also written in Java to access Sybase's database family. It will cost $495 per server for a Workplace version running on Windows NT and $1,995 for an Enterprise version running on Unix.
