Microsoft has broadened support for its Solutions Providers by adding several new services to their dedicated partners' scheme.
The Partner Programme Manager initiative is intended to provide such organisations with more one-to-one contact with senior Microsoft consultants, in return for increased investment in its product set. The aim is to provide knowledge transfer, in-depth training and increased credibility in the Microsoft marketplace.
The vendor has also added dedicated Solution Provider Technical Service Desk to its Web site to provide the partners with email access to senior engineers inhouse and to a Virtual SE Team of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineers.
The site will offer users regularly updated product flashes, troubleshooting guides, service packs and support tools, while a new Priority Plus service gives the Solution Providers priority access to special Server-Down support and support engineers, Early Assist support for beta and newly released versions of products, and a free dedicated hotline.
