IBM has stepped up its campaign to win the hearts and minds of small firms with an ebusiness server package aimed at small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs).
The iSeries Express SMB server is aimed at companies with up to 300 employees and introduces SMEs to more complex ebusiness techniques, according to Big Blue.
The server package, which has an installed base of some 750,000 SMEs, has a starting price of $37,000 (£26,000).
Analysts are predicting that IBM will increasingly push its iSeries offerings on the largely untapped SME market over the next year.
