US-based electronic commerce and EDI solutions provider, Harbinger, launched in the UK today.
The firm has set an aggressive agenda to expand its range of Internet-based software outside the US, particularly in the European market. It is particularly targeting the UK retail, manufacturing, utilities, finance and public sectors.
In January, in preparation for the expansion, Harbinger merged with US-based EDI software company Supplytech, which has operations in the UK and Italy. Harbinger already has businesses in Germany and Holland.
Harbinger products support client/server and the Internet. It focuses on EDI translation and communications software, and value added, pre-packaged services.
