Microsoft will today unveil its next generation of hand-held organisers aimed at taking market share from Palm. Pocket PC is the latest version of Microsoft's Windows CE hand-held operating system, and at its launch will boast device support from Hewlett-Packard, Compaq and Casio.
Some analysts predict that Pocket PC will reduce Palm's 80 per cent share of the hand-held market.
