The High Court has refused to grant BT an injunction preventing AT&T from advertising comparative price rates in the UK. AT&T had made claims that it could offer savings of 40 per cent over BT international call tariffs. Four months ago BT served a writ on its US rival alleging that these advertising claims made false statements about BT's service and infringed its trademarks.
