Software AG appoints new UK chief
by Sylvia Pennington, VNU Newswire
Software AG has appointed former Platinum Technology boss Mark Edwards to the position of UK managing director, following the departure of Ken Jacobson, after three years in the job.
Before joining the German enterprise software vendor Edwards spent two years as managing director of Platinum’s UK operation and prior to that held several sales roles at Computer Associates.
A spokesman for Software AG said Jacobson had left to pursue other business interests after completing a three year program to turn around the UK operation.
Jacobson was unavailable for comment.
