Indian giant HCL Comnet is moving further into Europe, launching its global networking services (GNS)here this month.
The GNS portfolio will include consultancy, planning, integation, migration, operation and management of networks. It will target the financial and enterprise sectors.
Sanjeev Nikore, vice president of marketing and business operations, said: "The company has revamped, based on value creation, to provide a range of lifecycle services which includes consulting, integration and operation."
HCL has been best known for providing Indian IT contractors for offshore projects undertaken by western companies but wants to expand into areas with higher added value and consultancy content.
