According to IDC's Internet Commerce Market Model, there are already three Web pages for every Web user. In this overpopulated environment, there will be Web sites and then there will be successful Web sites.
IDC predicted that of 170 Fortune 500 companies' home pages identified at the end of 1995, some 20% will be closed, support will be pulled and development stopped by the end of 1996.
On 13 November in London, this issue will be tackled in the Computing/IDC Executive Briefing series.
Presentations will be followed by a panel debate featuring end users and suppliers, which will tackle many of the issues involved in developing a Web site.
