Footie fans wanting a piece of Wembley Stadium's history will be able to buy it on the Internet.
The Stadium, which is being re-built at a cost of GBP475 million, is to have its old structure auctioned off on the UK online auction site QXL (www.qxl.com). Everything from the benches to the taps will be up for grabs.
Bidding for Wembley Stadium memorabilia will open on the QXL site in early 2000.
The ultra-keen can register now at a special Wembley section on the QXL site to receive an inventory of items for sale from the 1923 structure before it goes on general release.
Profits from the auction will go towards some of the building costs of the new stadium.
