Mobile apps have been around for ages, but have only come into the spotlight in recent times, thanks largely to Apple's App Store for the iPhone. Although this popularisation has been great for users, it has created a lot of issues for developers who now face the challenge of having to develop their applications for several mobile platforms and find ways of making money from them.
