Oracle announced a raft of Web products at the Internet World show in Los Angeles this week.
It has started shipping version 1.0 of its Payment Server for Oracle-based ecommerce applications, which supports different payment systems such as credit cards and electronic cash.
The database supplier has also announced version 4.0 of its Application Server, which supports Enterprise Java Beans and Corba objects, and includes a Java just-in-time compiler.
And later this month, it also intends to ship version 1.6 of its Web Development Suite, which includes Developer/2000, Designer/2000, and a beta version of Valhalla, a Java-based development tool, which will be named AppBuilder.
