IBM's Tivoli unit plans to Java-enable its entire product line by the end of the year. Its Global Enterprise Manager central console will ship with a browser front-end by the end of June, followed by the rest of the Tivoli Management Environment (TME) by year-end. By late summer, users can expect to manage Java-based applications and support for Sun's JMAPI systems management specification will follow later in the year.
