BKR Haines Watts promises more expansion and said the lastest move put it close to the top ten accountancy firms in Scotland.The Glen Drummond Partnership was formed in 1986. One of its partners, Ian Oliva, becomes managing partner of BKR Haines Watts in Edinburgh, with Douglas Pearson continuing as senior partner. Another partner, James Gray, will run the Livingston office.Oliva said: 'I want to make this the most talked about firm in Edinburgh for owner-managed businesses. I don't like the traditional image of accountants, which is based on auditing and costs and being cost-cutters.'We want to be seen as business advisers, being involved in our clients' business, helping them grow, looking at the top line.'
