KB Gear Interactive plans to roll out a sub $100 MP3 player this summer.
The company, which specialises in electronic toys, will make its first foray into the MP3 market with Jamp3. The device will have 16Mb of internal memory and will come with a Compactflash or Smartmedia flash media card.
It will be capable of storing 15 minutes of CD-quality music, and will be targeted at the teenage market.
