A film about the rivalry between Bill Gates and Steve Jobs is set to go into production next month, US reports suggest.
The film, currently under the working title ?The Pirates Of Silicon Valley?, will detail the technological race between Apple Computer and Microsoft. The film aims to tell the true story of the rise of the computer visionaries, their fierce battles and how the fledgling computer empires have changed the world.
Turner Network Television, is developing the project and has already cast Anthony Michael Hall to play Gates. This may not be a particularly challenging role for Hall who is best known for playing geeks in films as ?The Breakfast Club? and ?Weird Science?.
Noah Wyle, famous as Dr Carter in TV?s ?ER?, is down to be play the slightly less nerdy Steve Jobs, a role which could prove to be his most difficult operation yet.
Another film about Gates is rumoured to be in production, this time a parody about the billionaire software developer?s life with ?Wayne?s World? and ?Austin Powers? star Mike Myers in the lead role.
