Ionica, the wireless telephony company hoping to raise up to #144 million capital through a new placing of 36 million shares, is looking overseas for new growth and markets.
The company?s prospectus was published yesterday, prior to listings on the London Exchange and on Nasdaq. It expects to bid for foreign operating licences, and anticipates more overseas royalties from the radio-based wireless technology co-developed with Northern Telecom.
